Origin: D.O. Mendoza, Argentina
Bright violet in colour, this wine bursts with aromas of plum and blueberry, whilst vanilla and subtle hints of coffee express its time with oak. On the palate it shows supple berry fruits and cinnamon nuances balanced by soft, rounded tannins. Ideal with steak but equally as good with all red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
Hand-picked grapes and small parcel fermentation in concrete tanks are the secret to this wine’s outstanding quality and terroir expression. Expertly blended by award-winning French winemaker Matthieu Grassin, not only does this taste good, it also does good as it’s certified Fairtrade. A proportion of the wine has been aged in French oak for six months.
